- Classes start 9.00am
- First break 11.00am to 11.45am
- Second break 1.45pm to 2.15pm
- Classes finish at 3.00pm
Student absences
To register a student's full day absence, please phone the school (07) 5411 2111 on the day of absence.
Arriving late
Teachers will keep class rolls open until 9.00am to avoid students being further delayed by going to the office for a late slip. If your child arrives at school after 9.00am, they must collect a late slip from the school office and take it to their teacher. This complies with the electronic roll marking initiative implemented by the Queensland Government. An afternoon electronic roll marking process is also conducted.
Should your child not be present during electronic roll marking and the absence is not registered with the school office, phone calls will be made to parents/carers.
Leaving Early
Parents/carers who need to collect their child/ren from the school during school hours are required to follow protocol:
Proceed to the office with personal identification (e.g. drivers' licence) and inform administration staff. Personal identification is required even if parents are known to school staff.
Complete and sign a 'Collection of Student' form. Administration staff will check the identification and our school records before approving the collection.
Administration staff will call the teacher and have your child/ren sent to the office.
